The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nash moves in looking to clinch but Westbrook pushes him off.

Russell Westbrook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nash wants to control but Westbrook postures up.
Nash tries to improve position but can't.
Westbrook tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Westbrook has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Westbrook wants to control but Nash is keeping him busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nash is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Westbrook asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Nash is breathing heavily.

Westbrook is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Nash has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Westbrook has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Nash taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Westbrook doesn't care though - he's delighted!
