Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Steen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steen comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Shipping Up to Boston. Ricardo Nogueira acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dustin Steen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Nogueira! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nogueira fails with a takedown attempt. Steen leaves Nogueira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nogueira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steen to the mat! Steen manages to get full guard. Nogueira postures up in Steen's guard and throws a big left but Steen blocks it. Nogueira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nogueira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nogueira is looking to work some ground and pound but Steen has wrist control. Nogueira trying to control the position from guard on top but Steen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nogueira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nogueira drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Steen dives on top into guard. Steen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. That's one minute gone in the round. Nogueira keeping moving, preventing Steen from controlling successfully. Steen looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nogueira utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nogueira is pulling down on Steen's head. It's preventing any offense from Steen, at least for the moment. Nogueira looking for a sweep. Not yet Nogueira, not yet. Steen throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nogueira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steen tries to avoid it but Nogueira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steen to the ground. Steen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dustin Steen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Nogueira. Nogueira shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Steen is trying to defend but Nogueira finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Steen is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nogueira postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Steen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nogueira, into his guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nogueira looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nogueira can't keep his opponent in guard - Steen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Steen wants to get back to his feet.
Steen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Nogueira is controlling Steen's trapped leg to prevent Steen from advancing to side control. Nogueira is refusing to be controlled, as Steen sits in half guard. Nogueira wants to control but Steen is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nogueira is pressing down on Steen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Steen wants to stand but Nogueira is controlling his posture from full guard. Steen wants to control from the top but Nogueira keeps moving. Nogueira controls Steen momentarily but Steen frees himself. Nogueira is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Steen is looking to improve his position.
Nogueira is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Steen is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nogueira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Steen is just riding it out for now. Nogueira eventually gives up the hold. Nogueira is trying to control. Steen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Steen is defending against the submission attempts here by Nogueira.
Nogueira is looking to take a break and control but Steen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nogueira looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Nogueira dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Steen misses the shot to the body. Steen tries a head kick but it misses.
Steen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice takedown defense from Steen. No joy for Nogueira on that attempt. Nogueira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steen to the mat! Steen manages to get full guard. Nogueira landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steen keeping moving, preventing Nogueira from controlling successfully. Nogueira drops back looking for a leg! Steen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Steen manages to kick Nogueira off! Nogueira jumps back into Steen's guard. Nogueira postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steen keeping moving, preventing Nogueira from controlling successfully. Nogueira advances position into side control! Steen is looking for a sweep. Nogueira trying to control the action but Steen is working from the bottom. Nogueira advances to full mount. Nogueira lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nogueira goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Steen is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nogueira is looking for a triangle but Steen pushes his legs off easily.
Nogueira manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steen manages to get himself to full guard.
Nogueira works over Steen with some ground and pound from guard. Nogueira throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nogueira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Steen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nogueira can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nogueira looking to pass the guard.

Nogueira is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Steen pulls his head out easily. Steen wants to take a breather but Nogueira is having none of it. Steen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nogueira is trying to control but can't.
Nogueira wants to improve his position but Steen is controlling well.
Nogueira gets full guard. Nogueira has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Steen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Nogueira.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Steen is looking to take a break and control but Nogueira is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nogueira sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Nogueira manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Steen postures up.

Steen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Nogueira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Steen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nogueira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Steen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nogueira thows a huge punch but Steen dodges it nicely.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nogueira slips a jab and a cross from Steen.
Steen gets caught flat footed, as Nogueira shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Steen throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Steen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Steen keeping moving, preventing Nogueira from controlling successfully.
