Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ilpo Leuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Pax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus Pax is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pax rushes Leuka and presses him up against the cage.
Pax tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pax tries to score a body lock takedown but Leuka shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Leuka wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pax lands an elbow that stopped Leuka in his tracks for a moment.
Pax tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Leuka just stands there and leans against the cage.

Leuka is breathing heavily.
Pax misses with a takedown attempt - Leuka sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pax moves into range and clinches up with Leuka.
Pax tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Leuka just stands there and leans against the cage.

Leuka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A frustrated look appears on Leuka's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pax has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pax fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leuka, pushing him back against the cage.
Leuka wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pax is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Pax's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Leuka throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Leuka tries to bum rush Pax with a series of wild strikes but Pax uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pax's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pax throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leuka was covering up waiting for the punch and Pax finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pax decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pax wants to control from the top but Leuka keeps moving.

Leuka is working an open guard so Pax takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Leuka wants to get back to striking at distance but Pax won't allow it.
Pax goes for a takedown attempt but Leuka pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pax throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Leuka's waist but Leuka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pax off to one side.
Pax looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Leuka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pax is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leuka postures up.
Pax has Leuka pulled in close to control his posture.
Pax is looking to stand up but Leuka isn't so interested in that idea.

Maximus Pax showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Pax forces Leuka back against the cage and clinches.
Pax jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leuka walks away with a smile on his face. Pax gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Leuka throws a right hand that Pax ducks under and follows up with a left that Pax also avoids with ease.

Pax scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Leuka wants to get back to his feet.

Pax is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Leuka defends it well.
Leuka tries to kick Pax off but Pax keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pax wants to take a breather but Leuka is having none of it.

Pax postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Leuka to stand up.

Ilpo Leuka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Maximus Pax is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Pax tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leuka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pax somewhat.

Well Pax has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
