The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christiansen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Christiansen swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Christiansen misses with a hook from the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Vendetta's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Vendetta tries to break free but Christiansen pushes him back against the cage.
Christiansen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Vendetta wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Christiansen has him pressed against the cage.

Christiansen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vendetta pushes Christiansen off looking to stand but Christiansen dives back in and keeps control.

Christiansen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Vendetta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christiansen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Christiansen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vendetta's face.

Christiansen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vendetta can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
