The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrese tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Barrese shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Spicey defends it nicely.
Barrese is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barrese looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Barrese closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Barrese with the ground and pound but Spicey regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Spicey controls Barrese momentarily but Barrese frees himself.

Spicey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Spicey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Barrese jumps guard but Spicey stands there with Barrese around his waist. Barrese gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Barrese ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Barrese no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Barrese isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Spicey stacks Barrese on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Spicey!
