Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
B closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
noel breaks the clinch.
B fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. noel sprawls well initially but B persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
noel tries to get to full guard but B has control of the leg.
noel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
noel tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
noel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with B. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
noel wants to get back to full guard.
noel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. B is working away from the top position though.
noel flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
B throwing shots but noel is blocking nicely.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
noel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. B checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

It looks like Xave B has been cut.
B shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has noel pinned against the cage. noel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
B clinches up against the cage.
noel stalls.
B is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on noel's face as he tries to break the clinch.
noel is trying to drag B to the mat but B just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
B has had enough of the clinch but noel keeps him there for the moment.
noel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
noel throws a low kick but it's checked well by B.
noel looks to score with a jab to the body but B is just out of range.
noel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
noel tries to stand and escape but B actually recovers to full guard.

B wants to get back to his feet but noel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Horrible takedown by B or perhaps it was just good defense by noel which made him look bad.

B throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by noel.

B shoots in but no luck this time.

noel tries to score a body lock takedown but B shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
B's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
B lands a head kick. noel smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

B has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of noel is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
noel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

B could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and B counters with a solid body kick.
B checks the leg kick nicely there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
noel tries for a takedown but B sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from B. noel shrugs it off though.
B lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
noel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as B sprawls well. B wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. noel gets slowly back to his feet.

B rushes noel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
noel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
noel gets in close and instigates a clinch.
B throws an elbow that misses.
B is trying to force a seperation but noel has the dominant position.
B manages to break the clinch.
noel ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
noel lets loose with a powerful body kick. B will feel that in the morning.

B avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Xave B will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

noel throws a shot from downtown. B moves away and avoids it.

noel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Xave B seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

noel misses with a hook. B ducked under it nicely.

B takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

noel stalks B and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into B's face. B staggers backwards, shaken.

noel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

B is trying to get back to his feet.
noel wants to lay and pray for a moment but B keeps working.
B explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

and noel counters with a series of strikes. B will be more careful next time no doubt.
noel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but B circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
noel throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

noel has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from B.

B shoots for a takedown but noel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

noel sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Gary noel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Gary noel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think noel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
