Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between garrokl marres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Ray Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
marres clinches with his opponent.
marres has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Samson regains guard immediately.
marres stays in close to Samson's body and controls the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Samson wants the takedown. marres is fighting it off but Samson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in marres's guard against the cage.
