Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Valdema Severino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlton Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Wild Boyz as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Carlton Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severino shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valdema Severino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Severino will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Severino shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.

Severino turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Severino manages to end up in side control.
Silva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Severino has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Severino wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.
Severino is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Silva is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Silva is not content to let Severino control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carlton Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Severino chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Severino tries to move into range but Silva moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fighters circle, before Silva throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Severino's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Silva lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
