The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Routure fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Routure looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bob gets back to full guard.
Routure avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Routure is in close to Bob's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bob striking off his back but it's not causing Routure any problems.
Bob looking for a sweep. Not yet Bob, not yet.
Bob looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Routure lands a couple of digs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Routure knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Routure stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bob swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Routure postures up in Bob's guard and throws a big left but Bob blocks it.
Routure avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Routure postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Routure makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Bob manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Routure manages to get himself to full guard.
Bob thows a big elbow that misses.
Bob drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bob as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Routure screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bob! Nice submission victory there!
