Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Azim Kasam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen Let the bodies hit the floor as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Azim Kasam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franklin Wilson! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson stuffs the takedown. Wilson clinches with his opponent.
Kasam has had enough of the clinch but Wilson keeps him there for the moment. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kasam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kasam fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wilson lands a nice knee to the body. A left hand lands to the body for Wilson.
Wilson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kasam can't fight it off and eventually Wilson manages to take the fight to the floor. Kasam looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wilson looking to pass the guard. Kasam is trying to keep Wilson in close.
Wilson pushes down on Kasam's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wilson sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kasam has managed to free his arm - good work. Wilson moves nicely into side control. Wilson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wilson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wilson looks gassed! Wilson stands up. Wilson stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Azim Kasam. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kasam blocks a body shot from Wilson. Kasam looking for a takedown. Wilson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kasam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wilson as he jumps to the side. Kasam tries for a takedown but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kasam tries to clinch but Wilson is having none of it. Wilson avoids the head kick by Kasam.
Kasam moves in looking to clinch but Wilson pushes him off. Kasam wants to clinch and Wilson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wilson. Wilson throws a knee to the head but misses.

Kasam is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wilson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kasam to the mat. Kasam regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kasam swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wilson advances position into side control! Kasam defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kasam is looking for a sweep. Wilson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kasam tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wilson trying to control the position but Kasam is working away.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wilson closes the distance and clinches. A right hand to the body from Wilson.
Wilson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Wilson breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wilson shoots in and bounces Kasam off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wilson pushes down on Kasam's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kasam is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wilson thows a huge punch but Kasam dodges it nicely.
Kasam is in trouble now - Wilson has advanced to mount! Wilson working for a submission but Kasam is keeping him at bay. Kasam defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wilson. Wilson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kasam is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklin Wilson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kasam looks to clinch and Wilson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kasam is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kasam tries to clinch but Wilson is having none of it. Wilson has closed the distance and engaged Kasam in a clinch.
Kasam drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wilson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Wilson blocks an uppercut.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Wilson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kasam blocks it with crossed arms. Wilson breaks the clinch.
Kasam tries for a takedown but Wilson circles away easily and Wilson counters with an outside leg kick.
Kasam tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Wilson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wilson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wilson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kasam looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wilson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kasam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kasam is surviving well by controlling Wilson's body position as best he can. Wilson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Wilson controlling from the full mount. Wilson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kasam is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kasam flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wilson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kasam and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wilson slips an arm under Kasam chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wilson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wilson is squeezing on Kasam like an anaconda would it's prey. Kasam fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Franklin Wilson!
