Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Weems (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weems is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Victory. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Weems! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weems misses with a series of wild punches.
Henderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Weems tries to sprawl out of it but Henderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weems manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Some wild striking there from Weems.
Henderson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Kyle Henderson has been cut. Weems throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Henderson tries to clinch but Weems moves out of range. Henderson moves away from the strike by Weems. Henderson dodges the punch combination from Weems.
Weems misses with the combination.
Weems throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weems misses with a double jab.
Henderson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Weems tries to get to full guard but Henderson has control of the leg. Henderson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Weems trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Henderson seems content to control. Weems is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Henderson pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Henderson controlling the pace. Weems slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Henderson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Weems is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Weems is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Henderson pulls his head out easily. Weems is looking for a sweep. Henderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Weems looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Weems tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Weems wants to get back to full guard. Weems strikes from the bottom but Henderson uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Weems is looking for a sweep.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Weems throws a nice looking combination but Henderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Weems pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Henderson doesn't manage to clinch there - Weems circles away.
Kevin Weems is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Weems throws a wild body kick that Henderson sees coming a mile off. Henderson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Henderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Weems tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Henderson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Henderson controlling his opponent. Weems is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Henderson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kyle Henderson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Henderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Henderson showed some decent athleticism there. Henderson prevents Weems from improving his position. Weems moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Weems throws his legs up looking for a submission but Henderson uses it to pass to side control.
Weems tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Henderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henderson controls the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weems sneaks back into half guard. Henderson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Henderson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Weems is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Weems is squirming around, avoiding Henderson's attempts to control the action. Weems tries to hold on but Henderson pushes him away. Henderson has control of Weems's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Weems regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Weems tries to lock up and control but Henderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weems bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Weems in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Weems looking to pass the guard. Weems preventing the sweep. Henderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Weems! Weems tries to lock up and control but Henderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Weems is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Henderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Weems is looking to escape. Weems keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Weems bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Henderson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Kyle Henderson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Henderson shoots for a takedown but Weems saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Weems with a body punch. A glancing blow. A punch combination from Weems misses. Weems throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Henderson closes the distance and clinches up with Weems, looking for a takedown. Henderson pushes Weems against the cage but Weems circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Weems misses with a few strikes there.
Both fighters circling a little - Weems finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Weems throws a series of punches but Henderson moves out of range. Weems's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Weems duly obliges. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Weems misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Weems tries to land a front kick but Henderson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Weems looks to land a combination but Henderson avoids it well. Henderson gets the takedown into side control. Henderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Weems will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Henderson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Weems, who protects the arm well. Henderson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Weems to see if he's OK. Weems is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weems is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Henderson pulls his head out easily. Henderson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Weems to get to his feet. Weems looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Henderson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Weems is trying to defend but Henderson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Weems is trying to control but can't.

Weems is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No joy there for Weems, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Weems throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kevin Weems seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henderson shoots in and bounces Weems off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kyle Henderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Henderson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kyle Henderson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
