Simpson feints and as Chi Minh raises his hands in defense, Simpson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chi Minh pushes Simpson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Simpson throws a right hand that Chi Minh ducks under and follows up with a left that Chi Minh also avoids with ease.

Chi Minh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Simpson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chi Minh.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chi Minh lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Simpson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Simpson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Simpson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
