Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be touched. James Wayne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Hunt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hunt! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne stuffs the takedown. Hunt looks for a takedown but Wayne sprawls well. Hunt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wayne wants to get back to his feet but Hunt drags him back down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunt controls the position from side control. Wayne is looking to regain half guard here but Hunt keeps moving and retains side control. Hunt tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Wayne is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hunt has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hunt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wayne keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hunt tries for a takedown but Wayne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hunt seems to be looking for submissions.

Wayne is aware though and is defending well. Hunt looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wayne puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Wayne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hunt pinned against the cage. Hunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hunt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wayne pushes Hunt away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hunt gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt lands an elbow. Wayne on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Hunt scores with punches from side control. Hunt prevents Wayne from escaping the position. Hunt lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wayne down.
Wayne wants to get back to his feet but Hunt drags him back down. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunt creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
And that's the end of the fight! James Wayne showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wayne has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
