5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Beam! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed lands with a right hand. Beam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reed circles away quickly and effectively. Beam throws a front kick aimed at Reed's knee but Reed avoids it well. Beam looks to land a right hand but Reed moved out of range. Reed avoids a punch combination nicely.
Beam dodges the punch combination from Reed.
Reed scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Reed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Reed lands with a nice body punch. Beam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Reed is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Beam off and has taken his back! Reed keeps control of the position as Beam tries to break free.
Reed is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Beam won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Reed off his unconscious opponent!
