Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elkir Delfino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Dorian!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delfino misses with a double jab.
Dorian blocks a head kick by Delfino.
Delfino swinging wilding here.

Dorian closes the distance and clinches.
Delfino is looking to break free of the clinch but Dorian has double underhooks.
Dorian throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Delfino is trying to break the clinch but Dorian has him pressed against the cage.
Delfino on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dorian throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Dorian crunches a lovely knee into Delfino's ribcage.
Dorian keeps control of Delfino as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dorian throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dorian looking to throw knees to the head but Delfino is blocking nicely.
Delfino has had enough of the clinch but Dorian keeps him there for the moment.
Delfino is looking to break free of the clinch but Dorian has double underhooks.

Dorian manages to break the clinch.

Dorian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Delfino's guard.
Delfino is trying to control the position but Dorian postures up.
Delfino looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dorian got a little sloppy there for a moment and Delfino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dorian has managed to get both his arms back between Delfino's legs - danger averted.
Dorian really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delfino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Delfino is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dorian rolls with it to try and escape but Delfino cranks on the arm and Dorian is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
