Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Merker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Jeremy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Merker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxwell Jeremy! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeremy throws a nice looking combination but Merker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Merker has managed to clinch.
Jeremy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Merker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Merker stalling against the cage.
Jeremy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Jeremy working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Merker is looking to reverse the position. Jeremy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jeremy cracks Merker with a big right hand but Merker just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jeremy scores with punches from side control. Jeremy working away. Merker prevents Jeremy from moving into mount. Merker is trying to buck Jeremy off. Merker gets back to half guard. Merker on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jeremy is nestled in close to Merker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jeremy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Merker! Merker is trying to escape the mount.
Merker wants to get back to his feet.
Merker is breathing heavily. Jeremy looking to isolate an arm here. Merker doesn't see it coming and as Jeremy extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jeremy!
