Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AE Lajoiety (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurt Angle looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lajoiety drives through and clinches with Angle against the cage.
Angle looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Angle turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Lajoiety manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Angle is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lajoiety has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lajoiety cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lajoiety shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Angle pinned against the cage. Angle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Angle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lajoiety dives on top into guard.
Angle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lajoiety postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Angle wants to stand up but Lajoiety is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Angle pushes Lajoiety away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lajoiety gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
