Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kitsune Tsuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kitsune Tsuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Congo!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Congo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tsuki is defended easily by Congo.

Tsuki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tsuki lands in his opponent's guard.
Congo trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Tsuki trying to control the position from guard on top but Congo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Congo lands a decent shot there.
Congo is trying to keep Tsuki in close.

Tsuki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Congo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tsuki manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tsuki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tsuki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Tsuki looking for a guillotine here but Congo defends easily.

Congo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Congo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Congo's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Tsuki pushes Congo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Congo throws a series of punches but Tsuki avoids them all with ease.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tsuki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Tsuki is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Congo trying to hold on to Tsuki's head to control him but Tsuki postures up.
Congo manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tsuki won't allow Congo to sweep him here.
Tsuki passes Congo's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Tsuki trying to work for an americana but Congo has managed to regain full guard.
Tsuki is breathing heavily.
Congo trying to keep a closed guard but Tsuki is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tsuki preventing the sweep.

Congo working for a triangle but Tsuki defends it easily.
Congo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tsuki is one step ahead there.
Tsuki trying to control but Congo is working from the bottom.
Tsuki slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Tsuki looking to pass the guard.
Congo throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Congo trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Congo throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Congo striking off his back, scoring a few points.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tsuki shoots in but no luck this time.
Tsuki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Congo pinned against the cage. Congo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kitsune Tsuki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tsuki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Congo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tsuki did well to prevent Congo getting side control.
Congo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Congo lands with a punch from half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Congo in particular looking to stall.
Ground and pound from Congo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jimmy Congo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Congo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tsuki napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Congo cracks Tsuki with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Congo has hold of Tsuki's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tsuki seems comfortable defending it but Congo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tsuki is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tsuki is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Congo couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jimmy Congo!
