Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner avoids a kick to the body.
Zhan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steiner.
Zhan misses with the combination.
Steiner gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zhan is pushing Steiner's head away, looking to escape. Steiner manages to hold on to the position though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Steiner is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zhan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

and Steiner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Steiner.
Zhan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Steiner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Steiner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zhan.
Steiner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Steiner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Steiner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Steiner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zhan avoids it really well and circles away.
Zhan swats away the attempt to clinch by Steiner.

and Steiner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Some wild striking there from Zhan.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Zhan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Zhan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Steiner counters with a leg kick.
Zhan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Steiner manages to break the clinch.
Steiner slips a straight right by Zhan.
Steiner is looking to clinch but Zhan is avoiding it.

and Steiner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zhan rushes Steiner and presses him up against the cage.
Steiner tries to score a body lock takedown but Zhan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Zhan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Steiner is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Zhan to the mat. Zhan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Steiner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zhan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A close second round but Macho Steiner will probably get the nod - 10:9.

and Steiner counters with a single leg into guard. Zhan didn't expect that.
Zhan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Zhan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zhan tries to get out of the position.
Steiner pushing down on Zhan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Steiner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zhan is just riding it out for now. Steiner eventually gives up the hold.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Zhan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Steiner manages to move to mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Steiner trying to control but Zhan is having none of it.
Zhan tries to hold on but Steiner pushes him away.
Steiner thowing shots but they're missing.

Zhan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Poor strikes thrown by Steiner there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Steiner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
BOOM! Steiner connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Steiner throwing strikes here but Zhan is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Macho Steiner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Steiner working for a submission but Zhan is keeping him at bay.
Zhan tries to lock up and control but Steiner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight!
Macho Steiner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
