Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanders looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Silva with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sanders counters with a straight right hand.
Silva pushes Sanders away with a front kick.
Sanders leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Michael Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Da Silva.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanders sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva shoots and misses
and Sanders counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sanders .
Sanders loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sanders looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Silva passes Sanders 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sanders is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.
Sanders wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva seems to be looking for submissions.
Silva prevents Sanders from improving his position.
Silva wants to control but Sanders is keeping him busy.
Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Sanders is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanders avoid being mounted?
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sanders is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
