1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vilson Juvenal! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juvenal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lesnar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Juvenal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lesnar somewhat. Lesnar shoots in for a double leg but Juvenal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Juvenal clinches. Juvenal lands with a short head shot on the inside. Juvenal changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lesnar fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar is trying to maintain the position but Juvenal is very close to passing his half guard. Juvenal content to control rather than advance. Juvenal trying to control the action but Lesnar is working from the bottom. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Juvenal wants to take a breather but Lesnar is having none of it. Juvenal prevents Lesnar from improving his position. Juvenal stalling. Let's hope that Juvenal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Juvenal tries to avoid it but Lesnar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Juvenal to the ground. Juvenal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Juvenal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lesnar is looking to clinch. Juvenal shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lesnar is refusing to be controlled, as Juvenal sits in half guard. Lesnar tries to roll over but Juvenal keeps him under control. Juvenal moves into full mount! Lesnar won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vilson Juvenal dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Juvenal drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Juvenal trying to control the position but Lesnar is working away. Juvenal controlling the position. Lesnar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Juvenal wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Lesnar stops Juvenal from passing to mount. Juvenal remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar prevents Juvenal from moving into mount. A lull in the action here as Juvenal stalls from top position. Lesnar is looking to regain half guard here but Juvenal keeps moving and retains side control. Juvenal passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lesnar! Juvenal tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Juvenal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lesnar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Juvenal has managed to get both his arms back between Lesnar's legs - danger averted. Juvenal stays in close to Lesnar's body and controls the position.

Juvenal trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Vilson Juvenal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Juvenal shoots in but Lesnar avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ribeiro Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vilson Juvenal. No luck with that takedown attempt from Juvenal. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Juvenal can do anything to dispel that myth. Juvenal is pulling down on Lesnar's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar preventing the sweep. Juvenal is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Juvenal controls Lesnar momentarily but Lesnar frees himself. Lesnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lesnar fails to land the takedown. Juvenal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Juvenal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Juvenal paws at him with a jab and circles away. Juvenal moves into the clinch. Juvenal gets through Lesnar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Lesnar takes a shot to the head. Lesnar tries to land knees in the clinch but Juvenal avoids the damage to the body. Juvenal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Juvenal fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Juvenal clinches with his opponent.
Juvenal is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lesnar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Juvenal is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A nice right hand lands inside from Juvenal. Juvenal lands on the inside with an uppercut. Juvenal gets a trip takedown into half guard. Lesnar is trying to stand up here but Juvenal is controlling him well. Juvenal looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Juvenal wants to pass the guard but Lesnar is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Juvenal in particular looking to stall. Vilson Juvenal has got the better of the ground game so far. Juvenal stalling away here and it's allowed Lesnar to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Juvenal trying to control but Lesnar is working from the bottom. Lesnar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Juvenal controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lesnar is looking to stand up but Juvenal isn't so interested in that idea.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ribeiro Lesnar. I think Juvenal has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
