Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Blackmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Richard Blackmore enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcello Gonzalez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blackmore! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackmore tries to clinch but Gonzalez moves out of range. Gonzalez moves into range and clinches up with Blackmore. Blackmore gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez tries to stall but Blackmore uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Gonzalez keeps control of Blackmore as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Blackmore jumps into guard, dragging Gonzalez to the mat.
Gonzalez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Blackmore is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gonzalez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gonzalez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Blackmore struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gonzalez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Gonzalez seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Blackmore is trying to control Gonzalez's posture but Gonzalez avoids it. Gonzalez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gonzalez lands a few punches from side control. Gonzalez throws a strike aimed at the side of Blackmore's head but Blackmore avoids it well. Gonzalez tries to advance to mount but can't. Gonzalez throws an elbow but Blackmore slips to the side and avoids it well. The strikes coming from Gonzalez are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gonzalez working away. Blackmore is looking for a sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gonzalez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blackmore dives in and grabs Gonzalez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes down on Blackmore's head and hops out. Blackmore fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez avoids it really well and circles away. Marcello Gonzalez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Blackmore. Blackmore looks gassed! Gonzalez forces Blackmore back against the cage and clinches. Gonzalez taking a breather. Gonzalez gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gonzalez thows a huge punch but Blackmore dodges it nicely.
Blackmore wants to improve his position but Gonzalez is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gonzalez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gonzalez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gonzalez landing punches. Gonzalez landing strikes from the mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gonzalez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gonzalez raining down shots from the mount! Gonzalez lands a heavy elbow. Blackmore keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Blackmore in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blackmore taking shots to the head. Blackmore tries to reverse the position but Gonzalez maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Blackmore hang on? Blackmore tries to lock up and control but Gonzalez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gonzalez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gonzalez landing strikes, looking to finish! Blackmore takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. A nice elbow there by Gonzalez. Gonzalez is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gonzalez extends the arm and Blackmore is forced to tap!
