Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Lopes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Zanchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Zanchi!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zanchi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lopes takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Zanchi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lopes blocks a head kick by Zanchi.
A thudding body kick lands there by Zanchi!

Zanchi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Zanchi.
Lopes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zanchi counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Lopes is rocked!
Rafael Zanchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zanchi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lopes tries a head kick but it misses.
Lopes has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zanchi.
Lopes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zanchi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zanchi lands with a kick to the temple. Lopes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Lopes throws a lazy head kick
and Zanchi counters with a leg kick.
Lopes is breathing heavily.
Zanchi knocks Lopes to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Oh Lopes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Antonio Lopes has been cut.
Lopes is trying to buck Zanchi off.
Zanchi decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The fighters circle, before Zanchi throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lopes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Zanchi lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Rafael Zanchi!
