Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herman Wiliam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Rustoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Herman Wiliam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Rustoff! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiliam throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wiliam misses with the combination.
Rustoff takes a swing at Wiliam's ribcage but misses. Wiliam looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wiliam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wiliam scores with a nice body kick.
Wiliam circles away from the clinch attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Wiliam checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Wiliam throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rustoff's waist but Rustoff gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wiliam off to one side. Wiliam shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rustoff's guard. Rustoff keeping moving, preventing Wiliam from controlling successfully. Wiliam trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rustoff's guard. Wiliam postures up.
Wiliam passes Rustoff's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rustoff tries to roll over but Wiliam keeps him under control. Wiliam frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rustoff tries to hold on but Wiliam pushes him away. Wiliam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wiliam wants to finish this one by submission but Rustoff is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wiliam. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rustoff is looking to improve his position but Wiliam isn't that keen on the idea. Wiliam fails to move to back control. Rustoff is working to get back to half guard.
Rustoff wants to control but Wiliam is having none of it. Rustoff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wiliam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rustoff really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wiliam wants to control the pace but Rustoff is squirming around nicely. Wiliam wants to take Rustoff's back here but Rustoff is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Wiliam prevents Rustoff from getting the reversal. Wiliam looking to control but Rustoff is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wiliam is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rustoff is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wiliam looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Wiliam is breathing heavily. Wiliam avoids the attempt from Rustoff to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rustoff really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rustoff tries to hold on but Wiliam postures up. Wiliam sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rustoff is squirming around, avoiding Wiliam's attempts to control the action. Rustoff is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rustoff tries to hold on but Wiliam postures up. Wiliam stands up from mount. Strange move. Rustoff tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wiliam swivels and escapes. Horrible takedown by Rustoff or perhaps it was just good defense by Wiliam which made him look bad. Wiliam shoots in for a takedown but Rustoff shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wiliam throws a right hand that Rustoff ducks under and follows up with a left that Rustoff also avoids with ease. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wiliam avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rustoff takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rustoff fails with a takedown attempt. Herman Wiliam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Rustoff. Rustoff takes a kick to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Herman Wiliam dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wiliam closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wiliam throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wiliam throws a series of punches but Rustoff avoids them all with ease. Rustoff misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wiliam.
Herman Wiliam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Wiliam misses. Wiliam throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Wiliam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rustoff circles away quickly and effectively. Wiliam leaves Rustoff with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wiliam fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rustoff. Both fighters circling a little - Wiliam finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Wiliam has his takedown stuffed and Rustoff counters with a shoot takedown. Wiliam fights it but they end up in guard. Wiliam is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wiliam looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiliam is really struggling to control Rustoff but he's trying to hold on to the position. Wiliam looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rustoff has picked Wiliam up and slammed him! Wiliam can't keep hold of the triangle and Rustoff manages to pass to side control! Wiliam is trying to buck Rustoff off. Wiliam tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rustoff trying to control the position but Wiliam is working away. Wiliam is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rustoff's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Wiliam is looking to control Rustoff's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wiliam avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wiliam has a hand on Rustoff's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rustoff takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Rustoff looking to control and managing it successfully. Rustoff prevents Wiliam from getting the reversal. Wiliam regains half guard. Wiliam works his way to full guard. Good work. Wiliam is trying to control the position but Rustoff postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rustoff decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wiliam, up you get! Wiliam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rustoff is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wiliam's half guard. Rustoff wants to free his trapped foot but Wiliam is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rustoff keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Rustoff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wiliam keeps working. Wiliam trying to control here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rustoff seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wiliam moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Wiliam controls Rustoff momentarily but Rustoff frees himself. Wiliam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rustoff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rustoff stops Wiliam from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Rustoff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Rustoff shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wiliam is trying to defend but Rustoff finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wiliam gets back to full guard.
Rustoff avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rustoff trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rustoff stands and steps away. Wiliam gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Herman Wiliam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wiliam moves into the clinch. Rustoff fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wiliam fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rustoff misses with a takedown attempt and Wiliam decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rustoff's guard. Wiliam wants to pass the guard but Rustoff is keeping the position. Jack Rustoff has got the better of the ground game so far. Wiliam gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Rustoff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wiliam but Wiliam pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wiliam fails with the takedown and Rustoff counters with a one-two to the body. Rustoff tries to clinch up. Wiliam slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Rustoff misses the shot to the body. Wiliam lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Rustoff walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rustoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wiliam tries to avoid it but Rustoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wiliam to the ground. Wiliam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Herman Wiliam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Rustoff. Wiliam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rustoff tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Rustoff looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wiliam lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wiliam fails to land with a series of punches.
Rustoff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wiliam pinned against the cage. Wiliam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wiliam throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rustoff's head. Wiliam fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wiliam gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rustoff pushes down on Wiliam's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiliam wants to improve his position but Rustoff is controlling well.
Rustoff is looking to take a break and control but Wiliam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rustoff thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wiliam's head. Rustoff wants to pass the guard but Wiliam is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wiliam manages to get to full guard.
Wiliam is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wiliam fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wiliam gets caught flat footed, as Rustoff shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rustoff slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Rustoff stands up and beckons Wiliam to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wiliam lands with a slapping head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jack Rustoff. I think Rustoff has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
