Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ron Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mishima has chosen Tokyo Drift by Teriyaki Boyz as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul pushes Mishima up against the ropes in a clinch.
Mishima has Paul pressed against the ropes, preventing Paul from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Paul can't break the clinch.
Mishima jumps into guard, dragging Paul to the mat.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Paul throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mishima works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Mishima's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Paul knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mishima on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Paul fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mishima manages to avoid it.
Paul misses with a head kick.
Paul is looking to land body kicks.
Paul tries to clinch there but Mishima circles away.
Paul fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ron Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Paul throws a right hand that Mishima ducks under and follows up with a left that Mishima also avoids with ease.
Nice straight punches there by Paul. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Paul.
Paul tries to clinch up but Mishima circles away and keeps his distance.

Paul is breathing heavily.
Paul throws out a loose jab but Mishima uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mishima uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paul.
Paul tries to close the distance and clinch but Mishima swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Paul stuffs the takedown.
Mishima is looking to clinch but Paul is avoiding it.

Mishima dodges the punch combination from Paul.

and Mishima counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mishima seems to be looking for submissions.
Paul is looking for a sweep. Mishima is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mishima maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Paul could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mishima has cracked it and Paul is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mishima!
