The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for PEGADOR on the ground.

Evil is staying active underneath PEGADOR, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. PEGADOR connects with a nice short shot to Evil's temple.
Evil is looking to get back to is feet but PEGADOR passes into side control.

PEGADOR wants to lay and pray for a moment but Evil keeps working.

Evil is looking to work his way out of this bad position but PEGADOR is controlling him well.

PEGADOR goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Evil has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for PEGADOR but great work by Evil.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Evil wants to stand but PEGADOR is controlling his arm.

Evil has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Evil looking very determined here, making life difficult for PEGADOR.

PEGADOR is looking for a choke. Evil gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Evil manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

PEGADOR pulls Evil in close to prevent any damage.

PEGADOR escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Evil gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
PEGADOR bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evil's guard.
PEGADOR loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
