Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen slips under a jab.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Malfoy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it.

Malfoy stalks Allen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Allen's face. Allen staggers backwards, shaken.

Allen throws a nice looking combination but Malfoy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Allen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Malfoy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Allen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Duke Malfoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duke Malfoy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Malfoy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Allen.
Allen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The referee asks Allen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Allen prefers to stall for the moment though.

Allen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Malfoy wants to hold on but Allen pushes him away.

Allen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Malfoy looks a forlorn figure.

Allen breaks from Malfoy's wrist control and lands an elbow.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Malfoy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Allen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Allen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
