Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Em Cee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Spitler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spitler closes the distance and clinches up with Cee, looking for a takedown. Spitler pushes Cee against the cage but Cee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cee keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Spitler's head.

Spitler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cee kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Spitler jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cee manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cee throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Spitler. No joy for Cee on that attempt.
Spitler connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cee momentarily.

Cee tries to close the distance and clinch but Spitler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Spitler is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cee.

Cee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spitler is fending him off so far but Cee persists. Nope, Spitler circles away and we're back to standing.
