Sanchez has chosen Cypress Hill - Tequila Sunrise as his entrance music. Jesus Sanchez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Quid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Quid but Quid pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that Quid avoids nicely.
No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sanchez fails to land with a series of punches.
Sanchez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quid moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sanchez tries for a takedown but Quid sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sanchez cracks Quid with a good jab.
Quid drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sanchez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Quid wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanchez keeps working.

Quid cracks Sanchez with a big right hand but Sanchez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sanchez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quid.
Sanchez looks to land a left hand but Quid moved out of range nicely.
Quid drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quid with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Sanchez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quid's guard.

Sanchez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Quid. Quid gets slowly back to his feet.
Quid displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sanchez throws out the jab.
Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Quid moves out of range easily.
Sanchez lands with a thumping leg kick.

Sanchez keeping busy on the bottom but Quid has passed one foot through into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Quid connects with a nice short shot to Sanchez's temple.
Sanchez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Quid lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sanchez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quid is one step ahead there.
Quid avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Quid passes Sanchez's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sanchez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quid dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sanchez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Quid counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Quid slips nicely into half guard.
Sanchez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Quid is working away from the top position though.
Sanchez is pressing down on Quid's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sanchez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Quid with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Sanchez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Quid rolls with it to try and escape but Sanchez cranks on the arm and Quid is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
