Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Collin Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Dublin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collin Duffy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Collin Duffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Connor Dublin!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duffy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Duffy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dublin sees it coming and defends easily.

Duffy is trying to work for a kimura but Dublin is defending well.

Duffy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dublin is just riding it out for now. Duffy eventually gives up the hold.

Duffy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dublin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Duffy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dublin is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Duffy counters with a shoot takedown. Dublin fights it but they end up in guard.

Duffy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Duffy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Duffy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dublin stacks Duffy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dublin!

Dublin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duffy!

Dublin fails with the takedown

and Duffy counters with a takedown into side control.

Duffy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dublin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dublin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Duffy's best efforts.

Duffy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dublin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Duffy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Duffy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dublin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dublin keeping moving, preventing Duffy from controlling successfully.

Dublin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duffy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dublin wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Duffy manages to pass to side control.

Duffy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dublin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Duffy.
