Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van der lie silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jack Moon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moon tries to clinch there but silva circles away.
Moon shoots in for a takedown but silva shows good takedown defense.
silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Moon wants to clinch up but silva keeps it at a distance.
Moon tries to clinch but silva is having none of it.
Moon tries to close the distance and clinch but silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Moon fails with an attempt to clinch.
silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moon defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moon tries for a takedown but silva circles away easily
so silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Moon wants to get back to his feet but silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Moon misses with a takedown
and silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moon's guard.

silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

silva won't allow Moon to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moon, up you get!
Moon is breathing heavily.
Moon has silva up against the cage in a clinch.
silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Moon blocks it with crossed arms.
Moon tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
silva is trying to break the clinch but Moon is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Van der lie silva dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
silva scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

silva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Moon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for silva on the ground.
silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moon defends it well.
silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moon keeps working.

silva escapes and gets back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moon tries to clinch up
and silva counters with a nice body shot.
Jack Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moon slaps away a takedown attempt from silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Moon looks to clinch
so silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
silva passes into half guard.
Moon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moon tries to get out of the position.

Moon is looking to escape.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. silva connects with a nice short shot to Moon's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
silva in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Moon tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from silva!
