Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieth Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romano comes to the cage accompanied by Almost Easy -- Avenged Sevenfold. Matt Romano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Romano moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Liddell has worked his arm free - good work by Liddell!
Liddell pushes Romano away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Romano gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Romano remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Liddell takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Romano has an Americana. Liddell didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Romano is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Romano hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
