Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Moloch Vlavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Srur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Moloch Vlavo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Srur as Vlavo shoots in.
Vlavo scores with a takedown into Srur's guard.
Vlavo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Srur is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Srur has escaped and now he's on top!
Srur working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vlavo has his foot on Srur's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Srur works his way back into a safe position though.
Srur is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vlavo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Srur is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vlavo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Srur's back instead.
Srur breaks Vlavo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vlavo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Srur has picked Vlavo up and slammed him! Vlavo can't keep hold of the triangle and Srur manages to pass to side control!
Srur has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Vlavo is breathing heavily.
Srur closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Srur breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Srur bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Vlavo looking for a sweep but Srur has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Srur cracks Vlavo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Srur controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vlavo working to try and regain half guard.
Srur takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Srur has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Srur swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
