Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Nukem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Navid Bielkheden!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bielkheden fails to land with a series of punches.
Bielkheden connects with a high kick.
It looks like Duke Nukem has been cut.
Bielkheden is looking to clinch but Nukem is avoiding it.
Nukem forces Bielkheden back against the cage and clinches.
Bielkheden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bielkheden wants to break free but Nukem has control.
Nukem stops a takedown attempt from Bielkheden.
Bielkheden tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bielkheden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice combo by Nukem! Oh, that's hurt him - Bielkheden falls to the canvas and Nukem follows him into side control.
Bielkheden looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nukem stands up and beckons Bielkheden to his feet.
Bielkheden shoots in and bounces Nukem off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bielkheden trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nukem's guard.
Nukem wriggles free and stands up.

Nukem closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nukem lands in his opponent's guard.
Nukem passes into half guard.
Nukem seems to be looking for submissions.
Bielkheden is looking to escape.
Bielkheden misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Nukem takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bielkheden tries to kick Nukem off but Nukem keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Nukem lands strikes from half guard.
Nukem decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Nukem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nukem closes the distance and clinches up with Bielkheden, looking for a takedown. Nukem pushes Bielkheden against the cage but Bielkheden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bielkheden slips a jab and a cross from Nukem.
Bielkheden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Navid Bielkheden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bielkheden lands with a right hand.
Nukem circles away from the clinch attempt
and Nukem counters with a shoot takedown. Bielkheden fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nukem prevents Bielkheden from getting back to his feet.
Nukem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nukem seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nukem postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nukem is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nukem gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nukem gets the takedown into side control.
Nukem has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bielkheden is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nukem yanks on the arm and Bielkheden is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nukem.
