Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timoth Mithchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Timoth Mithchell has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timoth Mithchell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pete Greco! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greco avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mithchell scores with a nice right hand.
Mithchell takes a swing at Greco's ribcage but misses. Greco doesn't manage to clinch there - Mithchell circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mithchell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Greco misses with a double jab.
Greco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mithchell moves away. Greco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Timoth Mithchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mithchell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Greco to score an easy takedown into full guard. Greco won't allow Mithchell to get back to his feet. Mithchell is wriggling around but Greco manages to pass to half guard.
Mithchell is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greco tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mithchell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Greco works his way into full mount! Greco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. You get the feeling that Mithchell really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Greco is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mithchell can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Greco working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Mithchell is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greco is landing with some decent strikes but Mithchell is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Greco with the ground and pound from mount. Greco controlling the position easily from mount. Mithchell is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Mithchell is breathing heavily. Greco with shots to the head and body - Mithchell looks very uncomfortable down there. Greco postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mithchell looks a forlorn figure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Greco controlling the position easily from mount. Greco looking to finish Mithchell with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mithchell!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greco won't let Mithchell get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Greco controlling from the full mount. Mithchell trying desperately to get to his feet.
Greco takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Well, with Greco on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Mithchell is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Greco lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Mithchell.
Greco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mithchell won't enjoy being in this position. Greco looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Mithchell is tapping - it's over boys! Greco picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pete Greco! Pete Greco retains his welterweight title!
