The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
christ fails with a takedown attempt.
Boy tries a head kick but it misses.

and christ counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Boy is looking to stand up but christ isn't so interested in that idea.
Boy looking to hit a scissor sweep but christ is one step ahead there.

Boy pushes christ off and scrambles back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boy trying to control the hands but christ breaks the grip.
christ is trying to stick to Boy's back but Boy is turning into christ. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in christ's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Boy.

Boy gets to his feet - christ follows without any prompting.

Boy manages to break the clinch.
christ fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

christ shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee asks christ politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. christ prefers to stall for the moment though.

christ shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Boy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in christ's guard.
Boy wants to control from the top but christ keeps moving.
christ manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boy manages to get himself to full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You get the feeling that Boy really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, jesus christ just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
