Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Austin Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadeu Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocha comes to the cage accompanied by Hell Yeah. Austin Rocha has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Rocha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tadeu Fernandez! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernandez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rocha is looking for a sweep. Rocha manages to get back to half guard. Fernandez wants to control but Rocha is keeping him busy. Rocha wants to get back to full guard. Fernandez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Fernandez trying to control from Rocha's half guard. Rocha has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Rocha has control of Fernandez's left arm, preventing Fernandez from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rocha has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Rocha had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fernandez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rocha Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fernandez's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rocha missing with strikes from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fernandez showing good submission defense here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fernandez! Fernandez tries to lock up and control but Rocha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rocha is looking to work his way around to Fernandez's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Rocha has control of Fernandez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fernandez regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rocha is breathing heavily. Fernandez is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fernandez tries to hold on but Rocha pushes him away. Fernandez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rocha kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fernandez is working to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rocha putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Austin Rocha will probably get the nod. That's time! Rocha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rocha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fernandez counters with a single leg into guard. Rocha didn't expect that. Fernandez works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rocha wants to control but Fernandez is keeping busy.
Rocha avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fernandez. Rocha tries to roll over but Fernandez keeps him under control. Fernandez working over Rocha with some ground and pound. Rocha looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rocha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fernandez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fernandez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Fernandez with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fernandez trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fernandez prevents Rocha from getting the reversal. Rocha is working hard here to advance position. Fernandez is standing up, even though he is in mount. Fernandez throws the kick towards the body but Rocha avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rocha doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fernandez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rocha's guard now. Fernandez wants to pass the guard but Rocha is keeping the position. Fernandez throws and elbow that misses. Rocha uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fernandez's guard. Nice move by Rocha! Fernandez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rocha looking to pass the guard. Fernandez throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Rocha is posturing up here but Fernandez has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rocha tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rocha has to tap! Slick submission there by Fernandez!
