The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Escobar wants to work for an arm triangle but Ali is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Escobar prevents Ali from improving his position.
Ali gets full guard.
Escobar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ali is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ali has escaped and now he's on top!
Escobar looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ali is defending well. Escobar quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ali has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Escobar celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
