Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Hollis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch DeLoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hollis comes to the cage accompanied by UGK - Pocket Full of Stones. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeLoria misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Hollis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No joy there for DeLoria, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

DeLoria throws a shot from downtown. Hollis moves away and avoids it.
DeLoria throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Butch DeLoria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

DeLoria tries to clinch up but Hollis circles away and keeps his distance.
Hollis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hollis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hollis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hollis wants it to stay on the feet.

Hollis throws out a loose jab but DeLoria uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hollis moves forwards but DeLoria connects with a nice, crisp jab.

DeLoria misses with an uppercut. Hollis saw that one coming.
A head kick misses from DeLoria.
A lazy left from Hollis finds it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hollis throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends DeLoria stumbling backwards into the cage! DeLoria bounces back off the cage towards Hollis, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hollis lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hollis celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joe Hollis!
