Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Ritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ritter's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. Blake Ritter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rolando Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Ritter! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ritter tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ritter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gracie shoots in and bounces Ritter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ritter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ritter throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ritter doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Gracie trying to control but Ritter is working from the bottom. Gracie is stalling in the full guard. Ritter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ritter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ritter striking off his back but it's not causing Gracie any problems.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ritter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ritter manages to avoid it. Gracie thows a body shot but no joy. Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ritter has worked his arm free - good work by Ritter!
Ritter is not content to let Gracie control the position. Ritter is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gracie is controlling him well. Ritter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Gracie! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Ritter has tapped! This one is allllll over!
