Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jojo kupzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ernest Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, jojo kupzi! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller scores with a takedown into kupzi's guard. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but kupzi is retaining full guard. kupzi wants to get back to his feet but Miller is in a dominant position and won't allow it. kupzi wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. kupzi keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. kupzi looking for a sweep. Not yet kupzi, not yet. Miller wants to control from the top but kupzi keeps moving. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from kupzi.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Miller trying to control the position but kupzi is working away. kupzi is looking to reverse the position. Miller is looking to take a break and control but kupzi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. kupzi is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it. Miller stands up and we're back to a striking position. Miller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller stops a takedown attempt from kupzi.

Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut. kupzi tries to stall but Miller uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Miller gets control of kupzi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but kupzi is one step ahead there. Miller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for kupzi! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller avoids the attempt from kupzi to control. Miller is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, kupzi has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. kupzi blocking the ground and pound. Miller lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Miller controlling the pace for now. Miller trying to control but he's not successful this time. Miller punching from mount but kupzi doing a good job of avoiding damage. Miller looking to control but kupzi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. kupzi working to try and regain half guard.

kupzi tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. kupzi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Miller breaks the clinch.

Ernest Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Miller postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. kupzi looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. kupzi wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! kupzi is wriggling around trying to escape.

Miller content just to control the position here. kupzi tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Miller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as kupzi is looking to escape. kupzi wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller lands a heavy elbow. Miller is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but kupzi is surviving well by controlling Miller's body position as best he can. Miller controlling from mount. Miller tries to control but kupzi wriggling away. kupzi working to try and regain half guard.
kupzi is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. kupzi tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control. kupzi tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. kupzi avoids a series of strikes thrown by Miller.
Miller is going olschool here, as he tries to force kupzi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so kupzi shrugs it off. Miller wants to control the pace but kupzi is squirming around nicely. Miller cracks kupzi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
kupzi is looking to improve his position but Miller isn't that keen on the idea. kupzi is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller is in the full mount, landing strikes. Miller controlling the position easily from mount. kupzi is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. kupzi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernest Miller dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
kupzi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Miller counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. kupzi is trying to keep Miller in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and kupzi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between kupzi's legs - danger averted. Miller stands up from guard. Let's bang! Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. kupzi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. kupzi is squirming around, avoiding Miller's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. kupzi regains half guard. kupzi is not content to let Miller control the position. Miller trying to control the pace. Miller is keen to just control but kupzi is a slippery customer. kupzi is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well. kupzi is trying to control but can't.

Ernest Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. kupzi is trying to stand. Miller avoids the attempt from kupzi to control. kupzi is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
jojo kupzi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ernest Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. kupzi is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Ernest Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well Miller has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
