Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Izzy Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sydney Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Izzy Sinclair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sydney Rain! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Sinclair, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sinclair thows a left - swing and a miss! Rain shoots in but no luck this time. Rain fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd cheers as Sinclair lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rain doesn't seem phased though. Rain defending well as Sinclair loads up on a big left hand. Rain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sinclair.
Sinclair misses with a wild combination.
Rain moves out of range of the body kick from Sinclair.
Sinclair rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rain moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rain stalks Sinclair and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sinclair's face. Sinclair staggers backwards, shaken.

and Rain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sinclair keeping moving, preventing Rain from controlling successfully. Rain stops Sinclair from standing up. Rain pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sinclair is keeping the position for now. Sinclair is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rain is controlling him. Rain trying to control the position from guard on top but Sinclair is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rain drops back looking for a leg! Sinclair is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sinclair manages to kick Rain off! Rain jumps back into Sinclair's guard. Rain thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinclair is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sinclair misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sinclair throws a head kick but Rain moves out of range.
Sinclair swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rain counters with a left and a right that stings Sinclair. Rain shoots in and bounces Sinclair off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Rain has gone for a leg lock! Sinclair slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rain's guard. Rain looks gassed! Sinclair scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rain's head. Rain is working an open guard so Sinclair takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sinclair cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sinclair tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rain was well out of range. Poor timing from Sinclair. Sinclair swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sinclair throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sinclair throws a leg kick but Rain sees it coming and checks it nicely. That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sinclair as he jumps to the side. Izzy Sinclair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sydney Rain. Rain fails with the takedown. Rain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sinclair tries a head kick but it misses.
Rain throws a right and a left that both miss. Izzy Sinclair is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rain blocks a head kick by Sinclair.
A shot to the body from Sinclair misses and Rain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rain seems to be working for a kimura but Sinclair defends the submission attempt. Rain looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sydney Rain dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rain takes a kick to the side of the head. Rain throws a series of punches but Sinclair avoids them all with ease. Sinclair throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Rain avoids the head kick by Sinclair.
Izzy Sinclair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sinclair lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rain circles away quickly and effectively. Sinclair is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rain. Sinclair throws a body kick that misses. Sinclair misses with the combination.

and Rain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sinclair looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sinclair is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sinclair is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sinclair is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sinclair, who protects the arm well. Sinclair is pushing Rain's head away, looking to escape. Rain manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinclair is not content to let Rain control the position. Sinclair is trying to control Rain's posture but Rain avoids it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Rain is trying to get an arm triangle but Sinclair is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair tries to bench press Rain off him but Rain keeps the position.

Rain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sinclair is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sinclair knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rain on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sinclair's head. Sydney Rain has got the better of the ground game so far. Sinclair is trying to stand back up but Rain is controlling him
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sinclair lands a high kick!
A combination from Rain does no damage. Rain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sinclair counters with a head kick. That will keep Rain thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sydney Rain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rain misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Rain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sinclair keeps working. Sinclair wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Rain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sinclair knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sinclair is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Sinclair counters with a three punch combo that has Rain backing up. Rain nods at Sinclair to acknowledge the strikes. Izzy Sinclair is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sinclair gets caught flat footed, as Rain shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rain decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sinclair, up you get!

and Rain counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sinclair's guard now. Rain wants to pass the guard but Sinclair is keeping the position. Rain trying to control the position from guard on top but Sinclair is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rain tries to free his leg and advance position but Sinclair is retaining full guard. Rain looking to sit in guard and control but Sinclair gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sinclair is aware though and is defending well. Sinclair wants to stand but Rain is controlling his posture from full guard. Rain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sinclair doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rain is tightening it up a little... Sinclair has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sinclair reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sinclair taps out! nice BJJ there by Rain!
