Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Donatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral throws a hook but Donatti blocks it.
Donatti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sobral is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Donatti.

Donatti closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Donatti is looking to take a break and control but Sobral is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sobral lands a left and a right that send Donatti crashing to the mat, dazed. Sobral thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sobral is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Donatti defends it well.

Donatti shoots in looking for a takedown. Sobral tries to sprawl out of it but Donatti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Sobral manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Donatti closes the distance and clinches up with Sobral, looking for a takedown. Donatti pushes Sobral against the ropes but Sobral circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Donatti shoots for a double leg takedown but Sobral sprawls well. He's pushed Donatti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sobral, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
