Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tix Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Mcnichol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcnichol has chosen AC/DC - Back in Black as his entrance music. Drew Mcnichol will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drew Mcnichol!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcnichol scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kane shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mcnichol manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Mcnichol throws the kick towards the body but Kane avoids it.
Kane moves out of range of the body kick.
Kane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mcnichol but Mcnichol pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mcnichol throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Kane stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Mcnichol follows into mount!
Kane is rocked!
It looks like Tix Kane has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcnichol gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Oh Kane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kane fails with a takedown attempt.
Kane seems to have got his legs back now.
Mcnichol connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Kane! He's out on his feet! Mcnichol rushes in and drops Kane with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Drew Mcnichol!
