Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jr Seau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida connects with a high kick.
It looks like Jr Seau has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Machida as Seau shoots in.
Nice takedown defense from Machida. No joy for Seau on that attempt.
Machida misses with a series of wild punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Seau.
Lyoto Machida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jr Seau.
Seau will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Machida counters with a nice leg kick.

Seau tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Machida throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Seau walks into a stiff left hand from Machida.
Nice body punch from Machida.
Machida lands a big head kick that sends Seau to the canvas! Machida follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
