Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chad Muska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Logan Cane!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane blocks a head kick by Muska.
Cane feints and as Muska raises his hands in defense, Cane changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cane prevents Muska from getting back to his feet.
Cane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cane drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Muska dives on top into guard.
Cane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muska wanted to stand there but Cane had control of the position.
Cane is looking to sweep but instead, Muska has passed into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cane manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Cane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cane looking for a guillotine here but Muska defends easily.
Cane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muska. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cane wants to sweep here but Muska controlling him for the moment.
Cane has a closed guard, preventing Muska from standing up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cane is working an open guard so Muska takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Muska is breathing heavily.
Muska gets the takedown into side control.
Cane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Muska wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Muska decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Cane forces Muska back against the cage and clinches.
Muska misses with a knee strike.
Muska tries to pull guard but Cane holds him up against the cage and eventually Muska drops back down to his feet.
Muska creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Muska is trying to drag Cane to the mat but Cane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cane tries to pull guard but Muska holds him up against the cage and eventually Cane drops back down to his feet.
Cane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Muska just stands there and leans against the cage.
Muska doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Cane tries to pull guard but Muska won't allow it.
Chad Muska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan Cane.
Cane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Muska gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Muska is trying to break the clinch but Cane is controlling him.
Cane tries to score a body lock takedown but Muska shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Muska decides to pull guard.
Cane drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Cane as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Muska screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Cane! Nice submission victory there!
