Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Onng The Survivor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Liu Fish! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Survivor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fish. The Survivor is looking to clinch but Fish is avoiding it.
Fish avoids the head kick by The Survivor.
Fish shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The Survivor wants to stand up but Fish is controlling him. Fish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Survivor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fish is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! The Survivor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! The Survivor has escaped and now he's on top! The Survivor wants to control from the top but Fish keeps moving. Fish is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Survivor is aware though and is defending well. Fish working for a triangle but The Survivor defends it easily.

Fish escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Survivor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fish looks gassed! The Survivor decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fish, up you get! The Survivor looking to land some kicks to the body here.

The Survivor throws a nice looking combination but Fish bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The Survivor moves in looking to clinch but Fish pushes him off. Nice body punch from The Survivor. The Survivor throws a combination. Fish tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The Survivor is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The Survivor shoots and misses and Fish counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fish is working for a kimura but The Survivor is defending it quite comfortably.
Fish stops The Survivor from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Survivor manages to escape and get back to his feet! Some wild striking there from The Survivor.
The Survivor tries to clinch but Fish moves away and Fish counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Survivor is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Fish thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fish tries for a kimura but The Survivor is defending well. The Survivor is pushing Fish's head away, looking to escape. Fish manages to hold on to the position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fish wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by The Survivor, who protects the arm well. The Survivor is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Fish swings around for an armbar but The Survivor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fish's guard. The Survivor has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fish is proving hard to escape from.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fish fails with the takedown. Fish keeps the fight on the outside. Nice takedown defense from The Survivor. No joy for Fish on that attempt. Onng The Survivor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liu Fish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fish keeps the fight on the outside. The Survivor thows a body shot but no joy. The Survivor fails with the takedown and Fish counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fish tries to free his leg and advance position but The Survivor is retaining full guard. Fish postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! The Survivor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fish, into his guard. Fish has his foot on The Survivor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Survivor works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fish is working an open guard so The Survivor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fish shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fish stops The Survivor from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liu Fish dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The Survivor jabbing away but nothing is landing. The Survivor darts in trying to clinch and Fish decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in The Survivor's guard. The Survivor wants to stand up but Fish is controlling him. Fish thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fish is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fish must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fish stops The Survivor from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fish pushing down on The Survivor's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The Survivor is defending against the submission attempts here by Fish.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The Survivor fails to land with a series of punches.
The Survivor is looking to score with low kicks. Onng The Survivor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fish uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Survivor. The Survivor tries to clinch but Fish moves away and Fish counters with a single leg into guard. The Survivor didn't expect that. The Survivor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fish pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Survivor is keeping the position for now.

The Survivor slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fish's guard. The Survivor is looking to stand up but Fish won't let him. Fish looking for a guillotine here but The Survivor defends easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Survivor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fish is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Survivor tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fish counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in The Survivor's guard now. Fish is pushing down on The Survivor's leg trying to pass to half guard. The Survivor is fighting to maintain full guard but Fish has managed to sneak the leg through. The Survivor is trying to stand back up but Fish is controlling him

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The Survivor misses with a looping right. The Survivor tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fish counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fish drops back, looking for a kneebar! The Survivor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. The Survivor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from The Survivor! The Survivor stands up and beckons Fish to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Survivor misses with a head kick.

Liu Fish showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fish can do anything to dispel that myth. Fish throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The Survivor was covering up waiting for the punch and Fish finishes the takedown easily into guard. Onng The Survivor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Liu Fish is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The Survivor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Liu Fish comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fish winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
