Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey The Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Happy Day will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Happy Day!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Day ducks under a wild hook from The Dude.

Day lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The Dude avoids the head kick by Day.

Jeffrey The Dude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Day throws a head kick that The Dude semi-blocks.
Day looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The Dude defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Day.

Day lands a big head kick that sends The Dude tumbling to the mat! Day takes a step backwards and waves The Dude back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Day tries to bum rush The Dude with a series of wild strikes but The Dude uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Day is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down The Dude rather than just go for the knockout.

Day fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Dude manages to avoid it.

Day lands a head kick. The Dude smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Day lands a two punch combo.
Day misses with a wild body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The Dude takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Happy Day seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Day paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Happy Day showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Day moves away from the strike by The Dude.

The Dude fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Day lands with an uppercut that bounces The Dude off the cage and back into rage.
Happy Day is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The Dude has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Day can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
