Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between jack maidison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). maidison comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park In the End . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jack maidison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flash Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
maidison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gordon, as that shot connected.
Gordon misses with a looping right.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gordon. That's going to slow maidison down.
Gordon throws a nice looking combination but maidison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gordon throws a sloppy head kick and maidison moves out of range easily.
maidison looks for a takedown but Gordon sprawls well.
maidison throws a shot from downtown. Gordon moves away and avoids it.
Gordon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gordon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gordon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and maidison defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gordon passes to full mount!
maidison is looking to get to half guard.
Gordon wants to take his opponent's back but maidison doesn't allow it.
Gordon trying to control but maidison is having none of it.
Gordon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. maidison can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gordon is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Gordon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with maidison, pushing him back against the cage.
Gordon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through maidison's defenses.

maidison goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gordon prevents it.
maidison drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for jack maidison. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gordon is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Gordon lands a knee to the head.
maidison is breathing heavily.

maidison is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Gordon gets underhooks to prevent maidison's takedown attempt.
Gordon lands a knee to the body.
Gordon lands a nice elbow.

Gordon gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Gordon is fighting to break maidison's control of his arms but maidison is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Gordon stands up from maidison's guard - Gordon perhaps looking for a knockout.
Gordon clinches up against the cage.
Gordon jumps guard.
maidison prevents Gordon from getting back to his feet.
maidison trying to control but Gordon is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
maidison tries to free his leg and advance position but Gordon is retaining full guard.
maidison wants to control from the top but Gordon keeps moving.
Gordon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gordon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. maidison is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gordon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take maidison's back instead.

maidison manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gordon's guard. Nice work there by maidison.
Gordon controls maidison momentarily but maidison frees himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gordon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gordon lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flash Gordon dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gordon misses with a few strikes there.
Gordon getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Gordon scores with a head kick.

maidison shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gordon counters with a huge head kick that drops maidison! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Flash Gordon!
