Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jedward - Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez throws a series of strikes that have Black backpedaling.
Gomez darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nick Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomez connects with a solid leg kick.
A head kick misses from Gomez.
A right-left combo lands from Gomez.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gomez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Black sprawls well. Black wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gomez gets slowly back to his feet.
Black shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gomez as he jumps to the side.
Gomez tries to clinch but Black is having none of it.
Black will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gomez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Black counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Black slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Black is pushing down on Gomez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gomez is fighting to maintain full guard but Black has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Gomez wants to get back to full guard.
Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Black throwing shots but Gomez is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gomez is trying to stand back up but Black is controlling him

The fighters are battling for position here. Gomez manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gomez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gomez tries to get out of the position.
Gomez is breathing heavily.
Black is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gomez wants to get back to his feet but Black is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Black controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Let's hope that Black has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Gomez looking for a sweep. Not yet Gomez, not yet.
Black sitting in guard here, content to control.
Black works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Black is trying for a kimura here. Gomez looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Black wins by kimura!
